Kristen Holmes

Coaching Experience
Kristen is the Head Coach at Princeton University. The Tigers finished 2008 ranked #5 in the Division I NCAA RPI. Kristen also serves as Head Coach for the US Field Hockey NJ/PA Elite Performance Training Center. The team won the National Championship in 2007. Kristen has previously served as head coach of the U16 USA National Team in 2000-2003 & 2005. As an assistant coach at The University of Iowa from 1998-2000, she helped guide the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Final Four in ’99.
Playing Experience
In 2005, Kristen competed in the Pan-American games as a member of the U.S. Women’s Indoor National Team. In July of 2005, Kristen competed in the Champion’s Challenge in Virginia Beach as a member of the U.S. Women’s Sr. National Team. Prior to that event, she was a member of the U.S. Women’s Sr. National Team from ’94-2000 and was also an alternate on the ’96 US Olympic Team. As a 3 time All-American at the University of Iowa, Kristen led the Hawkeyes to 3 NCAA Final Four appearances. In ’97, she played in the English Premier Hockey League with Olton Terraquest.
